This patch and the previous have these comment block warnings which look ugly to me. Maybe we should make a DocumentationGuidelines, in the same spirit as CodingGuidelines where we can place these policies.

Also, the alphabetical ordering of patch 1 is nice, but if we want to do this we should probably change every git-<command>.txt to be consistent.
