Actually no. I tested this with "vim Documentation/git-pull.txt", and that works fine, but apparently only from that directory.
I'm investigating other solutions.

I'd say at least 90% of what vim does is not well known for most vim uses.

Right. That makes sense. I'll add the instructions to the next version once I find a good alternative for exrc.
