Another thing is I do not know how fresh the contents are. I know the one you are removing the reference to keeps up with the tip of 'main/master' so it may describe yet-to-be-released new features and behaviours. I am assuming that the one at git-scm.com is updated to the latest released version, which may be more useful for general audience.
