I should not do this, because you cost me already too much time with your outrageous proposal to rewrite history just for that stupid platform called Windows, whose users seem to complain more than actually contribute, but here it goes:

On Windows, "nul" is not allowed as a file name. So bend over for that platform even more than we do already.
