What tests? All the tests I see in msysgit are expected to succeed: https://github.com/msysgit/git/blob/devel/t/t5801-remote-hg.sh

I have read that thread multiple times now, and I still don't see the problem. Everything works fine in my remote-hg. I still don't understand what changes are required in upstream that your remote-hg needs, and the fact that there is no up-to-date remote-hg branch doesn't help.
Cheers.
