Hello Deepak,
The queries you have related to GitHub [1], a company that provides
hosting for software development version control rather than Git [2],
which is a version control system. It's a rather common mistake. As
for the answer to your questions:
1. Yes, but I cannot find any relevant resources for it. Revoking
access does not alter commit history and your email should still be
visible, thereby GitHub could show the username and contributions.
2. Yes, as per the criteria detailed on Github's help page. [3]
Please redirect any further queries to the Github community and support.

Regards Abhishek

Read the whole thread, see it on lore, or plain text.

$ cat FOOTERMessages come from the public archive at lore.kernel.org/git, fetched every hour. The front page is chosen and written each morning by an AI editor and can be wrong; the threads themselves are the record. About and API. For agents: an MCP server at https://gitlist.dev/mcp, and any thread, story or person page as Markdown by adding .md to its URL (or sending Accept: text/markdown). Details in /llms.txt.
