$ git stash save foo:bar HEAD is now at 9f88dce Foo $ git stash pop foo:bar fatal: Invalid object name 'foo'. $ git rev-parse foo:bar foo:bar fatal: Invalid object name 'foo'.

Tested on Windows (msysGit) and Linux.
