Hi

I am a student planning to apply to Git for GSOC'12. I was looking into https://git.wiki.kernel.org/articles/j/a/n/Janitor.html as a first step in getting to know the source-code better. The page reports that it was last updated on 21st March 2010 and hence I was curious to know if these issues are still of importance. Are there any similar tasks that a beginner could take up ? Would the ToDo list or the Wishlist be any better place to start ?

Sincerely
Rajat Khanduja
