I'll try to put together a new topic based on this branch. The target is incremental imports and removal of svn-fe's internal tree representation. The patches that I intend to pick are as follows:

David Barr (9): vcs-svn: drop obj_pool.h vcs-svn: drop trp.h vcs-svn: drop string_pool vcs-svn: factor out usage of string_pool vcs-svn: implement perfect hash for top-level keys vcs-svn: implement perfect hash for node-prop keys vcs-svn: avoid using ls command twice vcs-svn: pass paths through to fast-import vcs-svn: use mark from previous import for parent commit

Jonathan Nieder (7): vcs-svn: handle filenames with dq correctly vcs-svn: add a comment before each commit vcs-svn: simplify repo_modify_path and repo_copy vcs-svn: prepare to eliminate repo_tree structure vcs-svn: save marks for imported commits vcs-svn: use higher mark numbers for blobs vcs-svn: introduce repo_read_path to check the content at a path
