[PATCH v3 08/10] submodule: check for unmerged .gitmodules outside of config parsing

From
BWBrandon Williams <bmwill@google.com>
Date
Jul 18, 2017, 19:05 UTC
Message-ID
<20170718190527.78049-9-bmwill@google.com>
In-Reply-To
<20170718190527.78049-1-bmwill@google.com>

Add 'is_gitmodules_unmerged()' function which can be used to determine in the '.gitmodules' file is unmerged based on the passed in index instead of relying on a global variable which is set during the submodule-config parsing.
