$ mkdir git && cd git && git init -q && mkdir dir && echo .gitattributes export-ignore >dir/.gitattributes && git add dir/.gitattributes && git commit -q -m 1st $ git archive --format=tar HEAD |tar tf - dir/ $ git archive --format=tar HEAD:dir |tar tf - .gitattributes
