While working on libifying "git apply" it appeared that some gitdiff_* functions are unnecessarily complex.

  builtin/apply: get rid of useless 'name' variable
  builtin/apply: make gitdiff_verify_name() return void
  builtin/apply: simplify gitdiff_{old,new}name()
