OSLC connectivity to GIT in Java

Hello,
I am interested to connect to a GIT SCM through OSLC.

I would prefer to use Java as a technology. I have come across an Eclipse proposal called Lyo, kindly let me know if this can fulfill my requirement, and if "Yes" --> How?

Kindly do let know on any similar approaches.
