This guide [1] is outdated but should be applicable (see the new installer file [2] and its "[Components]" section for an up-to-date list of components to select).

For some reason googling for git+for+windows+silent+install did not turn up the new page but rather the old one, so I have falsely assumed it got lost in transit. Good to know it wasn't :-)
