Hi,

git monthly links is my attempt to gather all the links people have been tagging as "git" in delicious.com[1] (these are not chosen by me). It's a manual process so I might miss some links; I subscribe to the RSS feed and go through all the links simply picking the ones tagged the most.

The fancier blog version is here: http://gitlog.wordpress.com/2009/06/07/git-monthly-links-2009-05/

I didn't have much time to work on this, so this is a delayed version of May. I was unable to do this for April. I have improved the process so hopefully this will not happen again.

Enjoy.

A list of articles the page author thinks must-read for people who begin to use git.
The first entry in the list is a 45-page article Junio wrote for a bi-monthly paper magazine published in April (it still seems to be available at Amazon.co.jp). The others are various web pages.

Ah, I see.

45 pages?! Maybe it's something worth translating?

Sigh. This does not begin to tell who should refrain from using msysGit. And it toots the horn of TortoiseGit, a tool that is meant to give you the illusion that Git fits inside the CVS model.

Not amused, Dscho

Heh, sounds like material for a blog post: git links rebutal, or something. This I think should fit nicely in an official blog, something we don't have =/
