It exists http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=summary but http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.4.git;a=summary is empty. :)

That's what you get for hand-hacking URL's when there's a list to choose from.

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/wtarreau/linux-2.4.git;a=summary works though.

To further this the Linus Torvalds 2.4 tree does not actually exist (at least not where your looking and not in my quick glance on the server), so gitweb not showing you anything is a bit expected.
