Tuomas Ahola noted that Cirrus CI appears to have shut down, citing the Cirrus Labs site, and asked whether any other tool or service could consume Git's .cirrus.yml or whether the file is just gathering dust.
Carlo Arenas answered that, as far as he knows, there is no reason to keep the file.
Patrick Steinhardt said he did not even know the file still existed and believes nobody uses it. He said it is a shame, because it seemingly provided FreeBSD test coverage, which neither GitLab CI nor GitHub Workflows provide natively. He said that if nobody runs it, it should be removed, but proposed waiting a few days in case Arenas still has a use for it before sending a patch to drop it.
