Is there any kind of workaround available? > > Regards Sami Maisniemi Install macports if you haven't and then sudo port selfupdate sudo port install git-core macports should manage all the dependencies needed by the packages including gettext which provides msgfmt, After that you can git clone the lastest git.git if you want to mess with git and it should compile without any problem. __Luke
