I found one other unnecessarily duplicated line in the top-level
Makefile:

 LIB_H += xdiff/xdiff.h

by running

 find -name Makefile | xargs grep += | sort | uniq -d

and inspecting the results by hand, but this only checked lines
containing "+=".
