Looks like it worked, though loudly.

What does

	$ gcc -v
	$ echo '
#		include <pthread.h>

		int main(void)
		{
			pthread_mutex_t test_mutex;

			retcode |= pthread_mutex_lock(&test_mutex);

	$ echo $?
