We have 3 contributors contributing to Git this year[2]. \nThey are as follows:\n\n\n  - Ayush Chandekar\n\n    Project: Refactoring in order to reduce Git’s global state\n    Mentors: Christian Couder, Ghanshyam Thakkar\n\n  - Lucas Seiki Oshiro\n\n    Project: Machine-Readable Repository Information Query Tool\n    Mentors: Karthik Nayak, Patrick Steinhardt\n\n  - Meet Soni\n\n    Project: Consolidate ref-related functionality into git-refs\n    Mentors: Patrick Steinhardt, Jialuo She\n\n\nLet us welcome them and wish them a good summer of contributing to Git \nvia GSoC!\n\nThank you to all the contibutors who applied to Git this year! It was \na bit tough to choose from multiple potential contributors who all were good \nin their own respect.
