Hariom Verma wanted to attend last\nyear but unfortunately he couldn't get a visa.\n\nAlso please note that the money spent to attend it is more than\ncovered by Google, as Google gives $500 for each mentored contributor\nand also gives a generous amount for the mentors to travel to the\nMentor Summit ($1200 for me last year). It looks like those amounts\nare not in the same accounting bucket though.\n\nAnyway thanks for your great work on this report!\n"},{"id":"503000","messageId":"ZurSnxWRByacTUCW@nand.local","threadId":"62134","inReplyTo":"CAP8UFD3K6BvWs0iriG3RQP_2yY7+bc59wdwdwz9S_VLOkmU7sg@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: Git / Software Freedom Conservancy status report (2024)","fromName":"Taylor Blau","fromEmail":"me@ttaylorr.com","sentAt":"2024-09-18T13:16:15Z","receivedAt":"2024-09-18T13:16:20Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"me@ttaylorr.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/301000140?v=4"},"body":"On Wed, Sep 18, 2024 at 03:07:54PM +0200, Christian Couder wrote:\n> On Wed, Sep 18, 2024 at 2:54 PM Taylor Blau <me@ttaylorr.com> wrote:\n>\n> > Last year we spent money ($675.96 USD) sponsoring Christian Couder to\n> > attend the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2024 Mentor Summit. Assuming all is in order, the travel funds\nfrom Google should be $1200 per traveler.\"\n\nSo I don't know when or if Google eventually sent them a per-project\nbreakdown of the funds. Maybe we could ask the Conservancy if they\neventually did send it?\n"}]}
