Yes, the label is stale.\n\nI intentionally merged this to next back in 42e164b490 (Merge branch\n'en/sparse-checkout-design' into next, 2022-11-08), because it seemed\nlike the document was stable, and that any future substantial changes\nwould only happen after we started seeing some patches.\n\nI'll make sure to update the label when I send out the next WC.\n\nThanks,\nTaylor\n"},{"id":"467518","messageId":"40q20nq9-4qsq-8130-3783-8o97o06824qq@tzk.qr","threadId":"58799","inReplyTo":"874juzglx8.fsf@amd.com","subject":"Re: ms/sendemail-validate-headers, was Re: What's cooking in git.git (Nov 2022, #03; Mon, 14)","fromName":"Johannes Schindelin","fromEmail":"johannes.schindelin@gmx.de","sentAt":"2022-11-18T13:24:51Z","receivedAt":"2022-11-18T13:25:03Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"johannes.schindelin@gmx.de","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/127790?v=4"},"body":"Hi Michael,\n\nOn Wed, 16 Nov 2022, Strawbridge, Michael wrote:\n\n> For ms/sendemail-validate-headers (2022-11-11) 1 commit:\n>\n> My apologies. But you are right.  Excluding the hidden refs from \"--all\"\nwhile doing the \"rev-list new-tip --not --all\" traversal does not\nexclude pre-existing objects that are only reachable from these\nhidden refs in the object store, so it does not help ensure that the\npusher has to prove they have these objects.\n"}]}
