Here are the details for\nthe main conference:\n\n  When: September 14th and 15th\n  Where: Morgan Manufacturing (401 N Morgan), Chicago, Illinois, USA\n  What: Workshops on the 14th, main conference on the 15th\n\nIn addition to the workshop day on the 14th, GitHub will also be\nproviding space to host a Contributor's Summit offsite. The details for\nthat are:\n\n  When: September 14th\n  Where: Convene (131 S Dearborn) Chicago, Illinois, USA\n  What: Contributor's Summit\n  Who: All contributors to Git or related projects in the Git ecosystem\n       are invited; if you're not sure if you qualify, please ask!\n\nThis email is just to announce the date so people can start planning for\nthe main conference and Contributor's Summit. The main webpage is below,\nand has all of the details:\n\n  https://git-merge.com\n\nRegistration for the event is still being set up, but I'm told that it\nshould be live in the next couple of days. I'll reply to this email when\nI have some more details.\n\nIn the meantime, the CFP site is up and running. If you have any\ninterest in giving a talk, please consider submitting a proposal here:\n\n  https://sessionize.com/git-merge-2022\n\nNote that this year we're going back to having the Contributor's Summit\ntake place the day before the conference. For the Contributor's Summit,\nthe plan is to have an A/V setup for folks to join remotely where travel\nisn't possible.  I'll provide details on that as we get closer to the\nactual event.\n\nIf you'd like to come but need financial assistance with travel costs,\nplease reach out to the Git PLC at <git@sfconservancy.org>. We'll\ncollect requests and try to make decisions and notify people by\nmid-July, which would hopefully still leave time for making travel\narrangements.\n\nOther than that, please be thinking about (and feel free to discuss in\nthis thread) topics you'd like to discuss, or any general thoughts on\nthe format, venue setup, etc.\n\nThanks,\nTaylor\n"},{"id":"459176","messageId":"CAJoAoZnXyyZZxexyEeNjTrOBq0FkJ+EVhYT8YeqHYLHnJ1xASA@mail.gmail.com","threadId":"58002","inReplyTo":"YqjEAEPYEJMUx8Wu@nand.local","subject":"Re: [ANNOUNCE] Git Merge 2022, September 14-15, 2022, Chicago","fromName":"Emily Shaffer","fromEmail":"emilyshaffer@google.com","sentAt":"2022-07-15T22:27:17Z","receivedAt":"2022-07-15T22:27:32Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"nasamuffin@google.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/1606826?v=4"},"body":"On Tue, Jun 14, 2022 at 10:23 AM Taylor Blau <me@ttaylorr.com> wrote:\n>\n> Git Merge 2022 is happening on September 14th and 15th in Chicago, IL.\n> The Contributor's Summit will be on the 14th. I created a Google Spreadsheet to keep track\nof topics, session leads, and do some voting.\n\nAnybody interested in contributing thoughts down should feel free to\nemail me off-list, and I can send them a link to the spreadsheet.\n\nThanks,\nTaylor\n"}]}
