In early 2020, we had a hybrid in-person/virtual Summit in\nLos Angeles, and later in the year a virtual event focusing on Inclusion &\nDiversity organized by Google and Microsoft folks.\n\nWe haven’t had a technology-focused summit since March 2020, and a lot is\ngoing on that would be good to talk about. Let’s have another Virtual\nSummit.\n\nJust like the Virtual Summit ‘19, we can use Zoom (thanks GitHub, for\nletting us use your company license!), spread it out over two days, during\nthe most timezone friendly range of 15:00-19:00 UTC/17:00-21:00\nCEST/11am-3pm EST/8am-noon PST.\n\nTo coordinate this event, we’ve started a Google Spreadsheet where you can\nindicate date preferences for the event and propose topics for\ndiscussions.\n\nTo avoid possible spam from sending the link publicly, please send an\nemail to git-contributors-summit@googlegroups.com to receive the link to\nthe spreadsheet.\n\nCiao,\nJohannes\n\nFootnote *1*:\nhttps://lore.kernel.org/git/nycvar.QRO.7.76.6.1907031429420.44@tvgsbejvaqbjf.bet/\n\n"},{"id":"435842","messageId":"nycvar.QRO.7.76.6.2109141322060.59@tvgsbejvaqbjf.bet","threadId":"56478","inReplyTo":"nycvar.QRO.7.76.6.2109100149410.59@tvgsbejvaqbjf.bet","subject":"Dates for the Virtual Summit, was Re: The 2nd Virtual Git Contributors’ Summit","fromName":"Johannes Schindelin","fromEmail":"johannes.schindelin@gmx.de","sentAt":"2021-09-14T11:32:37Z","receivedAt":"2021-09-14T11:33:15Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"johannes.schindelin@gmx.de","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/127790?v=4"},"body":"Team,\n\nOn Fri, 10 Sep 2021, Johannes Schindelin wrote:\n\n> We haven’t had a technology-focused summit since March 2020, and a lot\n> is going on that would be good to talk about.
