It's OK but error message would be nice.\ngit-daemon outputs these lines to syslog:\n\n    Request for '/git/invalid.git'\n    '/git/invalid.git': unable to chdir or not a git archive\n\nNow if I try to clone the existing repo again\n\n    git clone git://example.com/git/repo.git\n\nit hangs.  I have to restart git-daemon to get it working again.  I\nstarted git-daemon (1.4.2) with --syslog --verbose flags.\n\n-- \nhttp://onion.dynserv.net/~timo/\n"}]}
