For the\nfollowing example repository structure:\n\n.\n|--   InnerDir\n|     |--   excluded.txt\n|--   file1.txt\n|--   .gitignore\n\nand the .gitignore content:\nInnerDir/*\n\nthe command\n\ngit ls-files -oi --exclude-standard --directory\n\nreturns no results, that is neither \"InnerDir/\" directory nor\n\"InnerDir/excluded.txt\" file. I would expect one of the entries since\nat the moment information about the file is missing completely in the\nlisting. Both executing the command without --directory flag and\nadding \"InnerDir\" to .gitignore produce some output from the command.\n\nSo the command returns no results for --others excluded files if\n--directory flag is specified and all files in a directory are ignored\n(but directory itself is not). Is this actually a bug or I\nmisunderstood something?\n\nI tested it on latest release of Git for Windows (2.26.1.windows.1, x64).\n\nBest Regards\nJakub Horodecki\n"}]}
