However, note that\nfiles which are already tracked in the repository will not be ignored\n(nor will they be listed by check-ignore). Is it possible that the file\nin question is already in the index (try grepping the output of \"git\nls-files\")?\n\n-Peff\n\n[1] Please consider cutting-and-pasting from the terminal instead of\n    attaching a screenshot. It's much easier to read, and allows people\n    to try to reproduce the issue without re-typing that horrifically\n    long filename.\n"}]}
