I wouldn't need it\nmuch personally, so I'm probably not going to work on it, but it would\nbe great if you could work on that. The best place to get started\nwith contributing is to read Documentation/SubmittingPatches document.\nThe CONTRIBUTING.md in the git-for-windows repository [1] may also\nhave some helpful pointers. Some of it is windows specific, but a lot\nof it is generally applicable.\n\nI'm happy to help reviewing these patches, and give more pointers to\nhelp you get started. Another useful resource is the #git-devel IRC\nchannel on Freenode, where you may be able to get some help (may need\nsome patience though :))\n\n[1]: https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md\n\n> Best regards,\n> Karen\n"},{"id":"354574","messageId":"CAPig+cQdTjf1oWzxSFx+i5YcfWs04oPefAqY0FtVKzrGf8Qw4Q@mail.gmail.com","threadId":"49041","inReplyTo":"20180805150117.GG2734@hank.intra.tgummerer.com","subject":"Re: git worktree add verbosity","fromName":"Eric Sunshine","fromEmail":"sunshine@sunshineco.com","sentAt":"2018-08-05T18:37:08Z","receivedAt":"2018-08-05T18:37:22Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"sunshine@sunshineco.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/163641?v=4"},"body":"On Sun, Aug 5, 2018 at 11:01 AM Thomas Gummerer <t.gummerer@gmail.com> wrote:\n> On 08/05, Karen Arutyunov wrote:\n> > What's quite inconvenient is that the 'git worktree add' command prints some\n> > output by default and there is no way to suppress it, as it normally can be\n> > achieved with the --quiet option for the most of git commands.\n> >\n> > Could you add support for the --quiet option for the worktree command?\n>\n> I think a '--quiet' option would be nice to have.
