You can build it from source yourself, either\nfrom a tarball:\n\n  https://git.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/git-2.17.1.tar.gz\n\nor by cloning with git:\n\n  https://kernel.org/pub/scm/git/git.git\n\nThere are some instructions in the INSTALL file, which you can also read\nonline:\n\n  https://github.com/git/git/blob/master/INSTALL\n\nYou can also use Homebrew to install, which usually updates to new\nversions pretty promptly:\n\n  https://brew.sh/\n\n-Peff\n"}]}
