Once multiple files are selected, they can be staged by\nclicking (toolbar) \"Commit\"->\"Stage To Commit\". All the files that\nwere selected then gets staged for the commit. The \"Stage To Commit\"\nhotkey (CTRL+T) behaves like the command itself, staging all files\nthat are selected (Tested on Windows 10).\nHowever, on some linux systems (currently tested on Ubuntu 17.10),\nonly one file (the most recently selected) gets staged when using the\n\"Stage To Commit\" hotkey (CTRL+T), while the other, selected files\nremain unstaged.\n\nSteps to reproduce (on Ubuntu 17.10):\n- Open git-gui in a repository with two or more unstaged, changed files\n- Select two or more files in the \"Unstaged Changes\"\n- Click CTRL+T to stage the files that you have selected\n(Only a single file will get staged)\n"},{"id":"338644","messageId":"CAPig+cRbwiDKgtZ4q5fTihHEc5Jyrmc9ZMkVf6jA6NeV7_fE3Q@mail.gmail.com","threadId":"47779","inReplyTo":"CAGr--=+V6zBo_0c_pX=PNVq1+8N-Q14+wgYx1j_odSGcRAv0hQ@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: BUG: On some Linux systems, \"Stage To Commit\" hotkey in git-gui stages one file only, even if multiple files are selected","fromName":"Eric Sunshine","fromEmail":"sunshine@sunshineco.com","sentAt":"2018-02-07T18:11:00Z","receivedAt":"2018-02-07T18:11:06Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"sunshine@sunshineco.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/163641?v=4"},"body":"On Wed, Feb 7, 2018 at 8:29 AM, Birger Skogeng Pedersen\n<birger.sp@gmail.com> wrote:\n> Steps to reproduce (on Ubuntu 17.10):\n> - Open git-gui in a repository with two or more unstaged, changed files\n> - Select two or more files in the \"Unstaged Changes\"\n> - Click CTRL+T to stage the files that you have selected\n> (Only a single file will get staged)\n\nThis was fixed in Git 2.16.0.\n\n76756d6706 (git-gui: allow Ctrl+T to toggle multiple paths, 2018-01-09)\n"}]}
