I think a good first step is just to start watching the\nrepository and jump in on issues where you think you can contribute.\n\nClicking \"close\" or \"merge\" on an issue is something only I can do for\nnow, but having a group of people reviewing and responding to issues and\nPRs is a big help (so I _can_ just click those buttons). And then\nover time hopefully we can grow a stable of reviewers, and hand out\nrepo privileges to the active ones.\n\n-Peff\n"},{"id":"310822","messageId":"20170203222407.ctr6bchtpblelqgb@sigill.intra.peff.net","threadId":"45026","inReplyTo":"CAPMsMoAUcVteJGfyYrL1ZkNLnoRES0yZxkMZeL347Q_1Kx5VBQ@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: git-scm.com status report","fromName":"Jeff King","fromEmail":"peff@peff.net","sentAt":"2017-02-03T22:24:08Z","receivedAt":"2017-02-03T22:24:17Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"peff@peff.net","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/45925?v=4"},"body":"On Fri, Feb 03, 2017 at 09:23:33PM +0000, pedro rijo wrote:\n\n> Seems a good idea.
