It doesn't even\ndepend on git. It is just a tiny helper program used by git-am,\ngit-applymbox, git-commit and git-tag. If all these commands are made\nbuilt-in then git-stripspace becomes useless.\n\n-- \nhttp://onion.dynserv.net/~timo/\n"},{"id":"21755","messageId":"448F3623.9010005@etek.chalmers.se","threadId":"4500","inReplyTo":"20060614005437.69ff6a62.tihirvon@gmail.com","subject":"Re: [PATCH 0/8] Make a couple of commands builtin","fromName":"Lukas Sandström","fromEmail":"lukass@etek.chalmers.se","sentAt":"2006-06-13T22:03:15Z","receivedAt":"2006-06-13T22:03:15Z","isPatch":true,"sender":{"key":"luksan@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/152281?v=4"},"body":"Timo Hirvonen wrote:\n> Lukas Sandström <lukass@etek.chalmers.se> wrote:\n> \n>> This patchseries has the ultimate goal of making\n>> git-am a builtin.\n>>\n>> The version of git-am I'm sending out makes quite heavy\n>> use of system(), but I think that can be worked around.\n>> I just haven't figured out how, yet.\n> \n> I don't think git-stripspace needs to be a built-in.
