I just would like to \n'pull' a project out of a repository.\n\nAt the beginning git worked just fine but since a few days ago I'm \nconstantly getting the error:\n\nCouldn't resolve host 'gitlab.lrz.de'\n\ngit did not exit cleanly (exit code 128) (391 ms @ 14.11.2016 16:53:37)\n\n\nTo my architecture: I'm having a Windows 10 Pro Version with the Intel \nU6600 processor.\n\nI have Kaspersky running (But, indeed, I also tried it to shut this \nsoftware down while testing git - additionally I killed all tasks which \ncould considered to be a firewall)\n\nFurthermore, I tried to use the ssh protocoll which did'nt worked out, \nas well.\n\nI added a ssh key changed the environment variable. Didn't worked as well.\n\nI have a direct link to the internet (in particular I'm not accessing \nthe internet via a proxy)\n\n\nA reinstallation of the software did't helped neither.\n\n\nFor your help I would like to thank you already in advance.\n\n\nKind Regards\n\nRobert Fellendorf\n\n"},{"id":"305889","messageId":"20161114192220.e6f794d90314066591d3a962@domain007.com","threadId":"44480","inReplyTo":"a3751faa-91b5-2ce8-767a-a25e25f23433@googlemail.com","subject":"Re: GIT Problem/ISSUE","fromName":"Konstantin Khomoutov","fromEmail":"kostix+git@007spb.ru","sentAt":"2016-11-14T16:22:20Z","receivedAt":"2016-11-14T16:22:30Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"kostix+git@007spb.ru","avatar":null},"body":"On Mon, 14 Nov 2016 16:59:41 +0100\nRobert Fellendorf <robert.fellendorf@googlemail.com> wrote:\n\n[...]\n> Couldn't resolve host 'gitlab.lrz.de'\n[...]\n\nSo, what happens when you open a console prompt (Click the Start menu\nicon, type \"cmd\" without the double quotes and activate the application\nfound), type\n\n  ping gitlab.lrz.de\n\nthere and hit the Enter key?\n\nDoes it successfully sends three network packets or you do get the\nsame/similar error message about the hostname \"gitlab.lrz.de\" being not\nresolvable?\n\nAs it stands, this issue looks completely unrelated to Git -- please\nread the Wikipedia page on the Domain Name System (DNS) for a start.\n"}]}
