It brings several search\nimprovements such as highlighting and wrap around, and machinery for future\nsupport of typeahead search. This release also gives more choice over how the\nuser configuration file is loaded either at built-time or at runtime through\nsupport of the XDG basedir spec. Among fixes several segfaults and invalid\nreads have been addressed and the tests are now run with Valgrind and\nAddressSanitizer by Travis on each push. There are several breaking changes so\nensure you read the section on incompatibilities in the release notes before\nupgrading.\n\nIt's crazy to think that Tig has happily browsed Git repos for more than 10\nyears! I have tried quite a few git-related\ntools over the past 10 years, and tig is the only one outside of git.git\nthat I still use.\n\nIf anybody has not tried tig's blame view, and especially \"re-blame from\nparent\" (bound to \",\" by default), they are missing out. I use it all\nthe time for digging up the rationale of confusing code.\n\n-Peff\n"}]}
