I am quite fluent with\nC programming.\n\nI would like to apply for GSoC 2016 under Git in libgit2. I read the list of\npossible projects and microprojects to be done. \nI tried to fix this, \"Fix the examples/diff.c implementation of the -B\"\ngiven in Starter Projects, I made some changes to the code and created a\nIssue on the libgit2's Github repository. But no one seems to reply to that,\nalso the IRC channel for libgit2 seems to be inactive. The libgit2 maintainer (Carlos)\nis highly unlikely to read that as it doesn't affect libgit2.\n\nPosting as a separate thread here increases the chance for him to spot this\nmessage.\n\nUsually you'd cc the people you're addressing as that has highest chance that\nthe relevant people see your message. Indeed I generally only look at the git list\nsporadically and superficially since most discussions are about the\ntool part of git, which doesn't affect the underlying system.\n\nSaurabh, libgit2 development happens on the GitHub repository, so if\nyou want to contribute, open a pull request there and we'll review the\ncontributions when we can.\n\nCheers,\n   cmn\n"}]}
