With this, v2.1.x has all the important fixes that\nhave been already applied to the 'master' front for the next feature\nrelease.  It also contains some updates to German translation.\n\nThe tarballs are found at:\n\n    https://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/\n\nThe following public repositories all have a copy of the 'v2.1.2'\ntag and the 'maint' branch that the tag points at:\n\n  url = https://kernel.googlesource.com/pub/scm/git/git\n  url = git://repo.or.cz/alt-git.git\n  url = https://code.google.com/p/git-core/\n  url = git://git.sourceforge.jp/gitroot/git-core/git.git\n  url = git://git-core.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/git-core/git-core\n  url = https://github.com/gitster/git\n\nGit v2.1.2 Release Notes\n========================\n\n * \"git push\" over HTTP transport had an artificial limit on number of\n   refs that can be pushed imposed by the command line length.\n\n * When receiving an invalid pack stream that records the same object\n   twice, multiple threads got confused due to a race.\n\n * An attempt to remove the entire tree in the \"git fast-import\" input\n   stream caused it to misbehave.\n\n * Reachability check (used in \"git prune\" and friends) did not add a\n   detached HEAD as a starting point to traverse objects still in use.\n\n * \"git config --add section.var val\" used to lose existing\n   section.var whose value was an empty string.\n\n * \"git fsck\" failed to report that it found corrupt objects via its\n   exit status in some cases.\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------\n\nChanges since v2.1.1 are as follows:\n\nJeff King (5):\n      send-pack: take refspecs over stdin\n      index-pack: fix race condition with duplicate bases\n      fsck: exit with non-zero status upon error from fsck_obj()\n      config: avoid a funny sentinel value \"a^\"\n      fsck: return non-zero status on missing ref tips\n\nJunio C Hamano (1):\n      Git 2.1.2\n\nMax Kirillov (1):\n      reachable.c: add HEAD to reachability starting commits\n\nMaxim Bublis (2):\n      t9300: test filedelete command\n      fast-import: fix segfault in store_tree()\n\nPhillip Sz (2):\n      l10n: de.po: change Email to E-Mail\n      l10n: de.po: use comma before \"um\"\n\nRalf Thielow (1):\n      po/TEAMS: add new member to German translation team\n\nSergey Organov (2):\n      Documentation/git-rebase.txt: -f forces a rebase that would otherwise be a no-op\n      Documentation/git-rebase.txt: <upstream> must be given to specify <branch>\n\nTanay Abhra (1):\n      make config --add behave correctly for empty and NULL values\n"}]}
