Since the coding part is\nsuch a small part of a microproject, doing many is not much more\nimpressive than doing just one.  And it takes quite a while to come up\nwith ideas for microprojects!  (I can already see that we are running\nout and will need more...)\n\nRather, please pick one microproject and do it *perfectly*.  And after\nyou've done that, if you are still itching to do more, then get involved\nin other ways, like\n\n* Find *other* little (or big!) problems in the code and either fix them\nor suggest them as additions to the list of microprojects for other\nstudents to work on.\n\n* Help review other people's patches--students' or anybody else's.  A\nwell-thought-out code review is a very valuable thing.\n\n* Fix other things, like documentation.\n\n* Answer questions on the mailing list or in IRC.\n\n* Write tests for bugs that people report on the mailing list.\n\netc. etc.  In other words, do things that other people on the mailing\nlist do.\n\nThanks!\nMichael\n\n-- \nMichael Haggerty\nmhagger@alum.mit.edu\nhttp://softwareswirl.blogspot.com/\n"}]}
