So, don't know if there is the same problem.\n\nHowever I typed the checkout directory in file\n.git/info/sparse-checkout by using different formats with\nand without the leading and the trailing slashes, with and\nwithout asterisk after trailing slash, having tried all\nthe possible combinations, but, all the same,\nnevertheless, the error occured.\n\nOn Linux I stored the checkout directory in\nsparse-checkout file in the following way:\n\"drivers/staging/usbip/\". But it looks like we do trim CRLF. Right you are. I've just tried to edit \"manually\" with notepad \n.git\\info\\sparse-checkout and found out that there really was a CRLF line \nterminator. After I removed it I managed to succeed in my sparse checkout.\n"}]}
