This is a re-send of Nicolas Vigier's work with an\nadditional patch that adds --gpg-sign to pull as well. I added my\nsign-off to his patches because SubmittingPatches (section (c)) seems to\nimply that I should, although I can rebase it out if it's a problem.\n\nI've been running with this patch set for some time now, and haven't\nfound any issues, although I wouldn't recommend doing large rebases\nwithout a gpg-agent running.\n\nI'm happy to fix any issues that come up in order to move this series as\nexpeditiously as possible, but seeing as I'm in San Francisco at the\nmoment, re-rolls might be delayed through the next few days.\n\nNicolas Vigier (8):\n cherry-pick, revert: add the --gpg-sign Until that happens, the series with 2af2ef3c (Add the\ncommit.gpgsign option to sign all commits, 2013-11-05) cannot be\nmerged to 'master'.\n\nA series that lets you specify positives from the command line\nwithout any sticky configuration variable, i.e. these patches, do\nnot have to wait for that to happen. So this series should come\nfirst and then the \"commit.gpgsign\" ones can be rebased on top of\nthis series, I would think.\n"},{"id":"233847","messageId":"xmqqtxcpm2ou.fsf@gitster.dls.corp.google.com","threadId":"35725","inReplyTo":"1390524666-51274-3-git-send-email-sandals@crustytoothpaste.net","subject":"Re: [PATCH v2 2/9] git-sh-setup.sh: add variable to use the stuck-long mode","fromName":"Junio C Hamano","fromEmail":"gitster@pobox.com","sentAt":"2014-01-27T23:21:05Z","receivedAt":"2014-01-27T23:21:05Z","isPatch":true,"sender":{"key":"gitster@pobox.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/54884?v=4"},"body":"\"brian m. carlson\" <sandals@crustytoothpaste.net> writes:\n\n> From: Nicolas Vigier <boklm@mars-attacks.org>\n>\n> If the variable $OPTIONS_STUCKLONG is not empty, then rev-parse\n> option parsing is done in --stuck-long mode.\n>\n> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Vigier <boklm@mars-attacks.org>\n> Signed-off-by: brian m. carlson <sandals@crustytoothpaste.net>\n> ---\n> contrib/examples/git-checkout.sh | 1 +\n> contrib/examples/git-clean.sh | 1 +\n> contrib/examples/git-clone.sh | 1 +\n> contrib/examples/git-merge.sh | 1 +\n> contrib/examples/git-repack.sh | 1 +\n\nHmmm, especially given that nobody is exercising the ``updated''\ncode even in our testsuite, is it a good idea to touch these?\n\nThe STUCKLONG never existed back when they were scripted.
