With it being fast\nand cheap (in relation to bandwidth and sizes for subsequent checkouts\nas well as CPU usage) . The only solution it seems is to ask somebody to make a\ngit-bundle and get that bundle via wget or rsync and then unbundle it\nand then hopefully just sync it. The other way is to pray and hope\nthat somehow git clones ends in a success.\n\nSomebody told me that there is/was some recent discussion on getting\nsomething like :-\n\n$ git clone --continue\n\nwhich is/would be very similar to how wget works so you can continue\nthe large file download if the server supports resuming.\n\nIs something similar being worked upon or discussed upon ? If yes,\nplease point me out to the discussion as it would be very beneficial\nto people like me who have unstable network connection.\n\nIf not, then sorry to take your time.\n\nin gratitude.\n-- \n Regards,\n Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल\n My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0\nhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/\nhttp://flossexperiences.wordpress.com\n065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17\n"},{"id":"227929","messageId":"523BEC67.60003@gmail.com","threadId":"34969","inReplyTo":"CADdDZRmufDTYYxHeAuPbCUn5iQHruAOXXho5KVOQ6McfSFvPJw@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: Has there been any discussion about resumable clones recently ?","fromName":"Sitaram Chamarty","fromEmail":"sitaramc@gmail.com","sentAt":"2013-09-20T06:34:15Z","receivedAt":"2013-09-20T06:34:15Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"sitaramc@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/43316?v=4"},"body":"On 09/20/2013 04:48 AM, shirish शिरीष wrote:\n> Hi all,\n> First of all a big thank you to all for making git.
