One branch having\nall the proposed patches, where each patch just changes one\nname, so I can send it to that specific person for review.\nThe second branch would be slightly behind the first branch\nand only have the patches of the confirmed .mailmap changes.\nThe following patch is a squashed version of the confirmed \nbranch.\n\nWhenever somebody confirmed their patch, I'd include it\ninto the confirmed branch and rebase the first branch on top\nof it. That works fine, if there are no many commits\nin between, so no merge conflicts occur.\n\nJunio, therefore I'd ask to include the following patch as \nthe 1/3 milestone in the mailmap completion, so the number of\nmy local patches floating around is reduced.\n\nThe 6 patches sent at 4th July are not required anymore,\nbut the following patch directly applies to your master branch.\n\nStefan Beller (1):\n .mailmap: Map email addresses to names\n\n .mailmap | 95 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++----------------\n 1 file changed, 71 insertions(+), 24 deletions(-)\n\n-- \n1.8.3.2.636.g7943f03\n"},{"id":"223162","messageId":"1373629769-23647-2-git-send-email-stefanbeller@googlemail.com","threadId":"34343","inReplyTo":"1373629769-23647-1-git-send-email-stefanbeller@googlemail.com","subject":"[PATCH] .mailmap: Map email addresses to names","fromName":"Stefan Beller","fromEmail":"stefanbeller@googlemail.com","sentAt":"2013-07-12T11:49:29Z","receivedAt":"2013-07-12T11:49:29Z","isPatch":true,"sender":{"key":"stefanbeller@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/455868?v=4"},"body":"People change email addresses quite often and sometimes\nforget to add their entry to the mailmap file.\nI have contacted lots of people, whose name occurs\nmultiple times in the short log having different\nemail addresses.
