Most\n notably, mailinfo (which is used by \"git am\") lacked this support.\n\n * We failed to mention a file without any content change but whose\n permission bit was modified, or (worse yet) a new file without any\n content in the \"git diff --stat\" output.\n\n * When \"--stat-count\" hides a diffstat for binary contents, the total\n number of added and removed lines at the bottom was computed\n incorrectly.\n\n * When \"--stat-count\" hides a diffstat for unmerged paths, the total\n number of affected files at the bottom of the \"diff --stat\" output\n was computed incorrectly.\n\n * \"diff --shortstat\" miscounted the total number of affected files\n when there were unmerged paths.\n\n * \"git p4\" used to try expanding malformed \"$keyword$\" that spans\n across multiple lines.\n\n * \"git update-ref -d --deref SYM\" to delete a ref through a symbolic\n ref that points to it did not remove it correctly.\n\n * Syntax highlighting in \"gitweb\" was not quite working.\n\nAlso contains other minor fixes and documentation updates.\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------\n\nChanges since v1.8.0.1 are as follows:\n\nAntoine Pelisse (1):\n Fix typo in remote set-head usage\n\nEric S.
