It is definitely a mistake, but not any more so\nthan any other bug. In fact, it went through review here\n\n http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/202784\n\nwhere I too (sorry) missed this, even as I pointed out several other\nthings. Then it went into the pull request\n\n http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/203153\n\nSo for me the main take-away is that just like with code, review helps\ncatch some things early but bugs still get through.
