Both are \nin context of starting a rebase while one is already in progress.\n\nfirst is:\n\nOriginal:\n... and I wonder if you are in the middle of another rebase.\n\nGerman git translation:\n... und es wäre verwunderlich, wenn ein Neuaufbau bereits im Gange ist.\n\nAnd a re-translation back to English from my understanding as native German \nspeaker:\n... and it would be astonishing (=i'd be surprised), if a rebase was already \nin progress.\n\nAnd second:\n\nOriginal:\nI am stopping in case you still have something valuable there.\n\nGerman git translation:\nEs wird angehalten, falls bereits etwas Nützliches vorhanden ist.\n\nI wanted to point out that \"etwas Nützliches\" is more \"something useful\" that \n\"something valuable\". But the more I thought about it, the more it started to \nconfuse me (even the original text) - and now I feel like I don't understand \nthe meaning of the last sentence at all; neither in English nor in the German \ntranslation:\nAfter removing the directory with all rebase-information inside it, WHERE \nshould something valuable still be left over? Is it referring to my working \ntree?\n\nSo, for completeness, the full English message:\n\n\tIt seems that there is already a rebase-merge directory, and\n\tI wonder if you are in the middle of another rebase.  If that is the\n\tcase, please try\n     \t   git rebase (--continue | --abort | --skip)\n\tIf that is not the case, please\n\t        rm -fr \"/work/lg2/src/.git/rebase-merge\"\n\tand run me again. To avoid a possible confusion, we\ndecided to translate this term as \"im Gange sein\" (\"be in progress\") in\nthe whole translation. Es wird angehalten, falls etwas Schützenswertes\n\tgefunden werden sollte.\n\nIt sounds way cleaner (to me at least) and transports all of the meaning.
