That title could mean a lot of things.  Telling us which git \nhosting solution you are using would be helpful.  github?  I take it \nthat you consider yourself a 'client' of github or something?  Or do you \nmean your pc a 'client' of a server that is the host of a git repo?  I \nassume you are referring to gitattributes assigned to a path via your \n$GIT_DIR/info/attributes, .gitattributes, etc. files?\n\nv/r,\nneal\n"},{"id":"194150","messageId":"1340523135362-7562043.post@n2.nabble.com","threadId":"30859","inReplyTo":"4FE4A64E.50501@gmail.com","subject":"Re: Is it possible for a Client to have hosted repositories with different attributes ?","fromName":"lalebarde","fromEmail":"l.alebarde@free.fr","sentAt":"2012-06-24T07:32:15Z","receivedAt":"2012-06-24T07:32:15Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"l.alebarde@free.fr","avatar":"https://gravatar.com/avatar/fda8e675abcdda4aa434c0ba02e5765afadb490c4017a9e9d03cc63f0fa290f0?d=mp&s=160"},"body":"Thanks for your reply neal.\n\nYes, I mean both 1) my \"pc a 'client' of a server that is the host of a git\nrepo\", 2) I as a client of a git hoster.\nYes, I refer to .gitattributes\nI am new to Git, so I have not yet decided for github or other.\n\nBut to clarify my need, I want a first repository on my PC, a second one on\na second PC on my local network (kind of backup), and a third one hosted\nsomewhere in the web to be able to work when I am out. At present time and\nat least for one year, I am alone on my project, and it is not opensource.\nSo I want to protect my sources. I don't want them accessible by anyone. And\nin case of hazard on the host (alien attack, bug, acking, malice\naforethought, industrial espionage, etc), I want to stay protected. Yes, I\nam paranoïde .\n\nSo I want to add some filters, at least for keywords substitution and a pice\nof more things on what is hosted.\n\n--\nView this message in context: http://git.661346.n2.nabble.com/Is-it-possible-for-a-Client-to-have-hosted-repositories-with-different-attributes-tp7561927p7562043.html\nSent from the git mailing list archive at Nabble.com.\n"}]}
