Thank goodness for these!!\n\nI edit my git config to look like this\n\n[svn-remote \"svn\"]\n        url = http://anonymous.blah.com/myproject\n        fetch = trunk:refs/remotes/svn/trunk\n        branches = branches/*:refs/remotes/svn/*\n        tags = tags/*:refs/remotes/svn/tags/*\n        commiturl = https://svn.blah.com/myproject\n\nand prepare to dcommit my commits from SomeBranch\n\ngit co SomeBranch\ngit svn dcommit\n\nor\n\ngit svn dcommit --commit-url https://svn.blah.com/myproject\n\nwhich results in the following:\n\nCommitting to https://svn.blah.com/myproject ...\n        M       plugins/somefile.txt\nIncomplete data: Delta source ended unexpectedly at\n/usr/libexec/git-core/git-svn line 848\n\nHowever, the following syntax works correctly:\n\ngit svn dcommit --commit-url\nhttps://svn.blah.com/myproject/branches/SomeBranch\n\nI cannot add the 'branches/SomeBranch' to my config and I thought\ngit-svn would have deduced them from the branch I am currently on? Is\nthis expected behaviour, a bug in my repo or a bug in git-svn's code?\n\nI can commit so it is not a problem but I would appreciate any\ninformation that anyone has on this.\n\nNot subscribed.\n\nMany Thanks\n\nPaul\n\n-- \nPaul Richardson\n"}]}
