As for many\npeople, the lack of support for Subverison properties is something of a blocker\nfor me. Some quick thought suggests that one of the simplest ways of fixing\nthis would be to add a couple of options to dcommit: setprop and delprop, which\nwould add a property change changeset at the end of a commit series. setprop\ncould take the form --setprop file:prop=value [--setprop file:prop=value] and\ndelprop the form --delprop prop [--delprop prop], possibly allowing wildcards in\nfile names. Obviously there would be nicer ways to support this, but no one has\ndone them yet, and this should be reasonably simple to implement (similar to\n<http://www.spinics.net/lists/git/msg113263.html>), while still being an\nimprovement over no support at all. To answer the question in\n<http://www.spinics.net/lists/git/msg113263.html>, I think that the advantage\nover using:\n\n\tsvn prop(edit|set|del) ARGS $(git svn info --url)\n\nwould be the shorter time window between the property change and other relevant\nchanges.\n\nI would appreciate being CC-ed on any answers.\n\nThanks for your time.\n\nRegards,\n\nMichael\n-- \nORACLE Deutschland B.V. & Co.
