I have\ndownload the \"cvs2svn-2.3.0.tar.gz\" file.\n\nI have created git user to install GIT and then using the same user (git) I\ntry to run \"./cvs2git\" command  below way.\n\n./cvs2git \\  --blobfile=/home/git/tmp/git-files/git-blob.dat \\ \n--dumpfile=/home/git/tmp/git-files/git-dump.dat \\    --username=git   \n/opt/source/Repo_from_CVS/VD\n\nIt took around 10 mins to finish pass1 and for pass 2 it raised the warnings\nand messages like below \n==============================================================\nDone\n\nTime for pass1 (CollectRevsPass): 526.3 seconds.\n----- pass 2 (CleanMetadataPass) -----\nConverting metadata to UTF8...\nWARNING: Problem decoding log message:\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------\nversion 4  - Note concerning “Leave One” option for Internal Duplicate Check\nadded\n \n---------------------------------------------------------------------------\nWARNING: Problem decoding log message:\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------\n......\n......\n......\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------\nWARNING: Problem decoding log message:\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------\nall labels to be right-justified\nall labels to end with “:”\nremoved Selected Error Codes label\n‘Select One’ dropdowns are horizontally aligned with corresponding text\nboxes\n \n---------------------------------------------------------------------------\nERROR: There were warnings converting author names and/or log messages\nto Unicode (see messages above).
