I could swear I sent it\nto the list, but it appears that I forgot.\n\nThe only thing I would add is the reason this is suddenly coming up now:\ngenerating MYMETA.yml is done only by new-ish versions of\nExtUtils::MakeMaker (it started for me with perl 5.14, which just hit\ndebian unstable recently). The file just contains extra information\nabout the environment and arguments to the Makefile-building process,\nand can be safely deleted.\n\n-Peff\n"},{"id":"180270","messageId":"20111202225528.GA1176@thinkpad","threadId":"29066","inReplyTo":"20111201223520.GB4869@sigill.intra.peff.net","subject":"[PATCH v2] Add MYMETA.yml to perl/.gitignore","fromName":"Sebastian Morr","fromEmail":"sebastian@morr.cc","sentAt":"2011-12-02T22:55:28Z","receivedAt":"2011-12-02T22:55:28Z","isPatch":true,"sender":{"key":"sebastian@morr.cc","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/81277?v=4"},"body":"This file is auto-generated by newer versions of ExtUtils::MakeMaker\n(presumably starting with the version shipping with Perl 5.14).
